  One of the worst places I've ever dealt with. Within the first 5 minutes I was disgusted with Mark, the salesperson. He had an attitude, was impatient, and was condescending. I stuck it out though because this was the place recommended by our carpenter.
  
  After being talked out of most everything we really wanted, my husband and I finally settled on an idea. We picked everything out 3 1/2 months before the start of the project. The day our project began, Mark notified our carpenter that the tiles we picked out have been discontinued by the manufacturer. Why we weren't notified of this days, weeks, or even months earlier is beyond me. We certainly didn't order the tile back in September so Mark could sit on his loins until November before placing the order. Then, Mark had the audacity to put the blame on our carpenter.
  
  Another notable negative, almost every sample they have in their showroom is "unavailable." We'd pick a nice pattern and he'd say it's unavailable. We'd pick another pattern and he'd tell us the pattern is available in every size EXCEPT the size we wanted. Seriously?
  
  American Tile and Stone, LLC is a joke. Don't go here. Save yourself the headache and go down the street to Tile America. (confusing, I know) Those folks are awesome and are willing to LISTEN and HELP and EXPLAIN. Not the case at American Tile and "bust your" Stone(s).
  
  PS - Mark, if you ever read this, stop telling your customers that they only need 100 degree water to clean and disinfect their shower. That's just ridiculous. And since you didn't specify any units in that statement, let me educate you: At 100 degrees Fahrenheit water won't disinfect (at all), and at 100 degrees Celsius you would surely have a dangerous burn/scald hazard. What are people supposed to do, boil water on the stove to clean their shower? You really should think before you speak.
